The first spiritual ecocity in Brazil.
The Eco Vrindavan project integrates Vedic wisdom,
a caring attitude toward nature and modern approaches
to Sustainable Development — in order to embody a living model of harmonious life that is accessible to everyone who strives for a meaningful, ecological and sustainable lifestyle within a community founded on spiritual values and service.
Spiritual foundations of the project
«In all the villages and towns of the world the holy name of Krishna will be heard».
Chaitanya-bhagavata, Antya 4.126
«I encourage farm projects everywhere. This is a very important, essential programme. Therefore engage in it enthusiastically and Krishna will be pleased».
Srila Prabhupada, letter dated 13.01.1977
«…And if this piece of land becomes New Vrindavan, I will forget even to think of returning to Vrindavan in India».
Srila Prabhupada, letter dated 23.04.1968
Blessings
The Eco Vrindavan project has received recognition and support from leading spiritual leaders of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness), whose words have become for us a source of inspiration, inner strength and confidence in the rightness of our initiative.
«May this help the devotees in Krishna consciousness. I wish you to build Vrindavan in Brazil, all the more so as it has been blessed by Srila Bhakti Dhira Swami Maharaja! This is wonderful».
Bhakti Ratnakar Ambarishi Swami
«Please do not doubt-there is no accident that this project has come to you. Behind it stands the will of Krishna. That means there will be great kirtans, festivals and something truly special. Do it. You have always wanted to do something large scale-and now the time has come».
Bhakti Vigyana Gosvami
«Hare Krishna! Thank you for your service and all the efforts directed at developing this project in Brazil. I am ready to work with you. Eco Vrindavan must become a place of clear principles and spiritual harmony».
Bhakti Dhira Damodara Swami
Mission
We are creating the spiritual city Eco Vrindavan in Brazil
so that the atmosphere of authentic Vrindavan becomes accessible to the residents of South America and the whole world through an open and hospitable community founded on Vedic wisdom, care for nature and the principles of Sustainable Development.
Vision
Our goal is to put this ideal into practice and inspire other God-centered communities around the world to create their own spiritual eco-cities - in the spirit of sustainability, service, health, well-being and harmony with nature.
Land
We have acquired the first plot of land of 8 hectares and signed an agreement to purchase another 52 hectares, which are planned to be gradually registered in the name of the Association over three years.
Association
We have already registered the religious Association, which operates on the basis of Bylaws / Statutes that comply with Brazilian legislation and the principles of Gaudiya Vaishnavism.
Structure, Land and Strategic Development
Transfer of spiritual infrastructure to ISKCON
The temple and all the spiritual infrastructure of the project will be transferred under the management of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) under the guidance of H.H. Bhakti Dhira Damodara Swami. The transfer will be formalized on the basis of a legal agreement ensuring the targeted use of these facilities in accordance with the instructions and vision of Srila Prabhupada.
Stages
The implementation of the project is planned in stages.
At the first stage we plan to develop residential infrastructure, including the construction and sale of Villas. This will provide a sustainable financial model for building the main temple, spiritual and social infrastructure, as well as launching agricultural programs.
Structure of Eco Vrindavan:
14 zones of the spiritual city
Eco Vrindavan is conceived as a holistic structure, where each of the 14 zones serves a specific mission and supports the others. Together they form a spiritual and social ecosystem of the future - a place of harmony, service and sustainable living.
1. Spiritual zone — the heart of the project
The key facility of the project will be the Krishna-Balaram Mandir temple — the spiritual heart of the community and the architectural dominant of the entire city. This temple is inspired by the shrines of Vrindavan and will become a place of Pilgrimage for Devotees from all over the world.

Next to the temple there will be built the pushpa-samadhi of Srila Prabhupada, as well as bhajan‑kutirs of the acharyas and the guru‑parampara — the great participants of Gaura‑lila and Krishna‑lila. Here one will be able to connect with their legacy through prayer, meditation and the study of their works.

Particular attention in this zone is given to manifesting the sacred geography of Vraja‑Mandala: symbolic forms of holy places such as Govardhan, Radha‑kunda, Shyama‑kunda, as well as the groves of Vrindavan, the Yamuna River, Seva Kunj, Nidhivan and others will be recreated here.

This will create the atmosphere of the holy Vrindavan in Brazil, making it accessible to Pilgrims who do not have the opportunity to visit India.

2. Residential zone for Devotees and Pilgrims
This zone is intended for accommodating brahmacharis, pilgrims and guests who seek to deepen their spiritual life. Conditions will be organized here for studying the shastras, practicing sadhana‑bhakti, participating in educational courses and teaching programs, as well as for service and assistance in the development of the project.
3. Educational zone
Kindergartens, a school (gurukula), an institute of Vaishnava education,
a yoga school, as well as space for retreats and educational programs will be located here. The training will cover both spiritual aspects and topics related to health, a sustainable lifestyle and all the aspects necessary for a harmonious, happy and conscious life in accordance with the principles of Vedic culture.

A pandal will be installed here, equipped with a stage, sound, seating and all the necessary infrastructure for organizing large‑scale spiritual events, Kirtan‑melas and festivals that unite Devotees from all over the world.
5. Wellness zone
This zone is intended for the restoration and maintenance of health in all its manifestations — physical, mental and emotional. It will house a wellness center,
a gym, an Ayurvedic clinic, as well as areas for yoga and active movement in the open air. Within this zone there will also be presented methods of natural medicine — such as phytotherapy, panchakarma, naturopathy and other traditional approaches to healing and prevention.

6. Agricultural zone
This zone will be organized according to the principles of agroforestry
and permaculture — with sustainable, ecological farming methods aimed at growing fruits, vegetables, greens and cereals for the needs of the community.

The goal is to create an autonomous, self‑sufficient food system that supports health, environmental cleanliness and harmony with nature.
Special attention will be given to greening the entire territory — 60 hectares of land. Using the principles of integrated agroforestry we will create a multi‑layered planting system that combines trees, shrubs and edible crops. Our goal is to plant more than 20,000 trees, restore soil fertility, increase humidity and create a favorable microclimate that promotes the prosperity of the entire ecosystem and the residents of the community.
7. Goshala and dairy farm
This zone will be dedicated to caring for cows — peaceful, noble creatures that since ancient times have been revered as one of the mothers for their selfless service and gift of milk. Favorable conditions will be created here for keeping cows, calves and bulls, using traditional methods: bulls will be engaged in plowing and agricultural work, and dairy products will be used within the community and partly sold beyond it.
The Goshala will also become part of the project’s sustainable economy and will contribute to the revival of a nature‑aligned and respectful attitude toward animals.

8. Sustainable infrastructure zone
Here autonomous water supply systems (from springs and wells), water purification and reuse, solar power supply, as well as sustainable waste management (composting, recycling, eco‑technologies) will be implemented. All this will create an environmentally clean and independent infrastructure that meets international standards of Sustainable Development.
9. Volunteer and staff village
To support the day‑to‑day activities of the project and its stable development, a residential village for volunteers and staff will be created. Those who help with construction, land care, event organization, as well as educational and social initiatives will be able to live here. Comfortable living conditions, kitchens, dining areas (prasada halls) and space for communication and joint service are provided.

Charitable and missionary work will be concentrated here: daily distribution of prasada (Food for Life), Harinam‑sankirtana in nearby towns and villages, distribution of Srila Prabhupada’s books, as well as educational programs aimed at the spiritual awakening of local residents, guests and pilgrims.
11. Guest and tourist zone
This zone is intended for accommodating honored guests, spiritual leaders participating in festivals, retreats and cultural programs, as well as for receiving official delegations and representatives of authorities. Comfortable apartments and hotel‑type infrastructure will be created here in accordance with international ecotourism standards.
This direction will become part of the financial model of the project (MVP), contributing to its sustainability and making Eco Vrindavan open to a wide audience.

12. Residential zone
In this sector there are ecological Villas and houses for Devotees, well‑wishers and guests.
Each house is designed individually — architecture, layout and finishing materials are selected in agreement with the owner.

The Villas are located on personal plots of land with the possibility of creating a garden, vegetable patch, fruit trees and installing a private swimming pool. The landscape design is also developed to order, forming a harmonious and sustainable living environment.
13. Protected Nature Zone
This zone encompasses all land areas that must remain in their natural, untouched state:
– Water sources and coastal areas (Permanent Preservation Areas — APP),
– Forests protected by law (Legal Reserves),
– As well as natural ecosystems serving as habitats for wildlife and maintaining ecological balance.

These territories will not be used for agriculture, construction, or other economic activities. They will become the ecological core of the project—protected and respected. All areas will be precisely mapped, legally formalized, and placed under environmental monitoring—with minimal interference, no infrastructure, and the preservation of biodiversity.

The creation of this zone underscores our commitment not only to sustainable development but also to the active protection of pristine nature.

14. Project Participant’s Zone
This zone is intended for permanent residents of Eco Vrindavan — those who choose this city as a place to live, work, participate and develop in harmony with its values. Here, plots will be provided for the construction of eco-chalets that correspond to the general architectural and natural concept of the project.

The residents of this zone will be teachers, educators, coordinators, technical specialists, organizers, as well as other residents interested in living within a developing eco-community.

The creation of this zone makes Eco Vrindavan accessible to those who strive to become part of a spiritual, ecological and sustainable community — to live among nature, to make a feasible contribution to the development of the Eco Vrindavan project.
At the same time, preference will be given to those devotees who strive to consciously join the project, as well as to those who find themselves in a difficult life situation due to global instability and the challenges of the modern world.
Heritage and Values
Together we can:

1. Preserve and transmit the heritage of Vrindavan, manifesting its pure and accessible projection for people all over the world.

2.Implement a practical model of Sustainable Development where eco‑technologies become a tool of service to the common good and spiritual progress.

3.Launch a complex of programs of spiritual and social service: schools, clinics, food distribution, ecological and educational initiatives, cow care, volunteering and support for vulnerable segments of the population.

Thus we combine the spiritual tradition, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and modern ESG‑investing principles into a single inspiring action.
Our landscapes
The transparent development model unites the efforts of spiritually oriented investors, philanthropists and community participants in the name of a harmonious and sustainable future.
By purchasing a Villa you become not only a resident but also part of the spiritual mission: you help build the temple, the school, the Goshala, the clinic, volunteer and educational centers, as well as the symbolic forms of the holy Vrindavan — Govardhan, Radha‑kunda and other pilgrimage places. This is an investment not only in your own home but also in creating a spiritual city where every element serves The Lord, people and nature.
How economics helps to implement the project's values
Eco Vrindavan develops thanks to those who choose to live here and participate in the development of the project.
Eco Vrindavan is a development initiative with a spiritual mission.
To implement all zones of the spiritual city, we created the 12th residential zone. It serves as the financial basis that ensures the development and implementation
of all other zones of the project.
This site is aimed at investors and Devotee well‑wishers who can support the project — through donations, information dissemination or purchasing a Villa in the spiritual city Eco Vrindavan.
